March 11, Cocoa, FL. We are northbound. Ft. Pierce was our southernmost point. We have run out of time working on the boat, visiting friends (Claude, Darrell), making new friends (Earl from Dancing Bear, Captain John on Sail Va Tion, Sam on Laura Blue), etc. It has been great fun. The west coast of Florida, the Dry Tortugas, the Keys, the Bahamas, will have to be another trip. The weather has been sunny and warm the past week, and we haven't had any rain since we left San Mateo in mid-Feb.

March 2, Melbourne, FL. We've taken refuge in Melbourne Harbor, FL. The past few days have been very windy and stormy. The thunderstorm with golf ball-sized hail that dinged the Space Shuttle was just a few miles from our anchorage near Cocoa. We couldn't take the dinghy to shore yesterday because of the breaking waves. We're going to continue south tomorrow in search of better weather.
